Swimming

Swimming at The Y is how many youth will begin their journey on becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits that will continue throughout their lives. And, the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in aquatics at the YMCA is about building the whole child, from the inside out.

Swim Lessons

Swimming lessons are offered at The Y, including group lessons and private lessons for children and adults. For for information see the swim lessons page. You can also register online for classes.

Swimming Pools

Swimming is a great way to keep your body and mind in shape.  Your local YMCA’s have several pools for laps, open swimming, and teams.  For information about each pool, please visit your local branch location page.
