Class Descriptions
Aquacize
Activate your aqua urge for variety! Aquacize offers lots of fun shallow-water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a kickboard may be used to develop strength, balance, and coordination. Handheld water weights and noodles may also be used to develop strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Aqua Zumba® (Pool)
This class blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body-toning, and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
Zumba®
This new fun fitness experience improves cardiovascular & core strength with a taste of salsa! **Kids may take Zumba with adult/parent permission and supervision.**
Silver Stretch®
A mind body workout designed to help improve flexibility & balance for those with orthopedic ailments.
Silver Strength
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a small ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support.
Yoga
This class fully integrates a mind body workout, is for all levels & designed to help improve strength, tone, flexibility, & balance.
Spin
Group cycling led by an instructor. This 45 min cardiovascular class utilizes the spin bike for a great overall workout!
Burn & Tone
A mix of cardiovascular and strength to help burn fat and tone muscle.
Total Definition
This strength training class utilizes different equipment such as barbell & plate weights, resistance bands, free weights, and physioballs for a full body workout to improve body definition.
Boot Camp
This fun, yet high intensity class uses unique exercises and techniques to take your endurance and strength to the next level.
Pilates
Series of non-impact exercises to develop strength, flexibility, and balance.
Conditioning Kickboxing
Cardiovascular conditioning and muscular endurance through kickboxing moves.
Butts & Guts
Focuses on abdominal and lower back strength and flexibility.
