Fall Flag Football

The West Side Family YMCA will be having a fall flag football league for boys and girls ages 6 – 14 (teams are co-ed). The purpose of the league is to provide football instruction in a positive atmosphere. Every player will receive a jersey and the beginning of the season and an award at the end of the season. Emphasis is placed on skill development, fair play, sportsmanship, and teamwork. You may register your child at the West Side YMCA front desk. Teams practice once a week and games are played on Saturday mornings. Volunteer coaches are needed!

Registration: July 26th – September 2nd
Coaches Meeting: Wendesday, September 18 @ 7:00pm
Practices: Begin the week of September 13th
Games: October 2 – November 13
Ages: 6-14
Cost: $55/member; $75/non-member ($10 late fee if registered after September 2nd)

Cheerleading

YMCA Cheerleading is about having fun, building character, and showing your spirit for the YMCA! The West Side YMCA has cheerleading during our flag football season. The squad practices once a week and cheers for the flag football teams during games on Saturday. You may register your child at the West Side YMCA front desk. Every cheerleader will receive a uniform and an award at the end of the season. Volunteer coaches are needed.

Gym Schedule

*When Knox Co. Schools are out, the gym will be closed from 7am until 6pm.
