Planned Giving is a means through which a charitable gift is committed to a charity through a donor’s estate plan that comes to fruition after the lifetime of the donor. The following are some methods used in a planned gift:

  • Provision in one’s will or revocable trust
  • Life insurance plan beneficiary designation
  • Retirement plan beneficiary designation

Other planned giving options, which provide income during a donor’s lifetime include:

  • Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Charitable Lead Trust

Join the Legacy Society

The Legacy Society is a special group of people who believe in the mission of the YMCA OF EAST TENNESSEE and want to ensure that valuable life changing programs and services will be continued for future generations. Each member of the Legacy Society has included the YMCA in his or her estate plan which will build long range financial stability enabling our Y to continue its cause.
