For the first time in 43 years, the YMCA has unveiled a new brand strategy to increase understanding of the impact the nonprofit makes in communities. Through its new brand strategy and framework, the YMCA will extend its reach into communities to nurture the potential of youth and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being and provide opportunities to support neighbors. It’s an exciting time for the organization and soon you will begin seeing a new way in which the YMCA communicates our message.
While still formally known as the YMCA, we will refer to ourselves just as you do, as “the Y.” But we remain committed to our heritage as evidenced in our Mission: to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Over the coming months, you’ll begin to see and hear just how your YMCA of East Tennessee will begin embracing the brand revitalization!
