February Hike: IC King Park

Our Y Hiking Group meets monthly, and everyone is welcome to join us! Our February hike will be Friday, February 24, 2023 at 9:00am. We will explore the IC King Park from the new entrance at 2625 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. The county is in the process of adding trails and developing this entrance of the park. We will hike a 4-5 mile loop from the new entrance parking lot. If you are interested in joining us, please register for the hike. Additional Information:
We will hike ~4-5 miles with a good portion along the waterline. The terrain is mostly flat, but there will be some loop options for short hills. This is a Mountain Bike park, so we will stick to the outer loop and try to stay out of any mud. This is the IC King Park Extension. The parking lot is at 2625 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. Please note, if you google IC King Park, it will give you the address for the entrance off Alcoa Highway. DO NOT go to the Alcoa Hwy entrance. The new parking lot is large with plenty of parking, bathrooms and a pavilion with picnic tables. There is also a dog park at this entrance.
