Join us for the first ever NERF NIGHT at the Cansler Y!
This event will run as a Parents Night Out, so parents can drop off their kids ages 3 to 12 years old.
Kids ages 7-12 can participate in Nerf Night, while kids 3-6 can play outside or in the Child Watch area. Pizza and a movie to wind down at the end of the night are included for all ages!
For Nerf Night, we’re turning our basketball gym into a Nerf battle ground, with bunkers and barriers, targets, and more! Nerf Night will include games of capture the flag, obstacle courses, and target practice competitions. Y staff will serve as “Nerf refs,” fairly dividing teams for games and activities to ensure fun is had for all ages and all skill levels!
Details & Registration:
- Member Registration will open September 1st. The child must be an active member on the Y account.
- Non-Member Registration will open September 5th.
- Cost: $20 for first child; $10 for siblings
Nerf Night Guidelines:
- Bring your own Nerf gun that is compatible with Nerf Elite ammo; no automatic, rival, or battery-powered Nerf guns allowed.
- We will provide small Nerf guns (Nerf Elite 2.0 Ace SD-1) for any child without a blaster.
- All ammo (Nerf Elite darts) will be provided. Please leave personal ammo at home.
- Eye protection will be provided and required at all times.
- No intentional head shots.
- Y staff will ref and lead all Nerf games and activities. Please follow all rules and guidelines from our Y refs!
- All participants must be 7 years of age or older for Nerf Night.
