At the Y, we believe that learning to swim is a life skill that should be made available to all children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Our YMCA’s scholarship fund makes discounted swim lessons available to those who qualify. In addition to our scholarship fund, grant funds from YMCA of the USA allow our Y to offer free swim lessons every summer to hundreds of children ages 3-13 in our community. To request free swim lessons for your child, download the Grant Swim Lesson Request Form and turn it in at your closest YMCA of East Tennessee location.
