Creative Movement

Creative Movement classes are perfect as an introduction to dance.  Y Instructors with years of dance and instruction experience will help children find outlets for creativity and movement.

• No previous dance experience required.
• No special dance shoes or dance attire required. Athletic wear is recommended so dancers can move and groove with ease!
• Younger ages will focus on introductory dance skills including balance, rhythm, and setting movement to music. Older age groups will experience a hip-hop and jazz inspired class and learn beginner combinations and choreography.
• Creative Movement Classes are currently offered at our TENNOVA FAMILY Y and CANSLER FAMILY Y.
• Classes run monthly for $25/month for Y members and $50/month for Non-Members.
