Loading Events

Many of our members train for triathlons at the Y!  If you’ve considered joining the sport, or if you’re a long-time triathlete looking for guidance, come learn!  On April 20th, join us at the Pilot Family Y in West Knoxville for some tips and tricks with triathlete Lana Burl from LB Endurance. We will meet in the gym promptly at 5:00pm! 

Meet Lana:

Lana actively participates in endurance and multisport events.  She’s overcome a paralyzing fear of the water to race for 13 seasons.  She is a respected coach, serving many athletes in triathlon training.  Lana will be discussing triathlon training and her journey to triathlon racing.  Her racing and professional resume include:

  • Team USA in three events at World ITU in 2019
  • Ironman, Ultra Marathon, Swims, & Sprint Triathlon
  • Owner of LB Endurance Lab
  • Swim Coach

Train With Us:

The Pilot YMCA offers a Swim/Bike/Run class on Tuesdays at 8:30am.  It is taught by personal trainer and coach Michael Carroll.  For more information on this event or our Swim/Bike/Run class, please contact our Wellness Director, Kendalyne Duncan at 865-690-9622 or [email protected].
